Assignment 2 Individual Assignment requires students to demonstrate their understanding of data paths, pipelined data paths, and processor architecture through hands-on work. Students demonstrate their understanding of virtual memory by performing memory design, measuring, and improving cache performance. There are 6 questions in this task. The total score is 120 points. The student's score should be multiplied by 30% to be counted into the total score. It is important to note that answers must be submitted as a PDF file. Handwritten assignments will not be accepted. The reference format needs to be "RMIT Harvard".
Assignment 3: Individual Assignment
Accounted for 40%;
The due day is on Week 13 Friday;
The full score is 150 points;
The format is Q&A;
Students are required to demonstrate the use of processes and threads, explain operating system (OS) design principles, and the operating system's support for computing. At the same time, students demonstrate an understanding of Internet architecture and protocols. Assignment 3 consists of 8 questions, each of which is worth between 15 points and 25 points.
