Assessment 1 (individual):
MGT603 assessment 1 mainly consists of two parts, part A is to prepare an original post, and part B is to comment on part A of two peers. Description: Choose a case from the given case organization list and prepare an original post (maximum 500 words)
The post should focus on how the "COVID-19" coronavirus poses a major issue/challenge/problem to your chosen case organization in 2021-2022, and how students can use systems thinking to assign optimal decisions to it. Assessment 2 (individual)
Description: MGT603 assessment 2 is an extension assessment 1, which requires a more comprehensive discussion of the case organization selected in assessment 1, including internal and external stakeholders and the expected and unintended of their decisions. It mainly includes two aspects of discussion:
1) “Rich picture”, for which students can create or draw by themselves to give a concise overview of the problems and challenges discussed in MGT603 Assignment 1
2) Root Definition Report Using CATWOE: A “Root Definition Report” is a “structured analysis and description of the system being investigated”. A Root Definition Report explains, “What”, “how” and “why”. A CATOWE analysis can help in the development of a thorough Root Definition Report.

In this assignment, students will use the systems thinking tools of system archetypes combined with value stream mapping to solve problems in the scenario.
