HOW TO USE SWOT ANALYSIS?

Steps of SWOT analysis:

First of all, we need to confirm what the current strategy is, second, the change in the external environment of the enterprise, and then, according to the combination of enterprise resources, we need to confirm the key capabilities and key constraints of the enterprise, and finally, we need to score and evaluate.

SWOT is usually divided into two groups, namely SW and OT:

SW (Analysis of Strengths and Weaknesses):

Usually, we will combine Strengths and Weaknesses. This part mainly analyzes the internal conditions of an enterprise. When analyzing this part, we must make detailed comparisons between an enterprise and its competitors, such as product quality, attraction to customers, technology and raw materials. It is important to remember that when analyzing this portfolio, we need to put our perspective in the objective perspective, that is, the perspective of the customer, not the subjective view of the enterprise itself.

OT (Opportunity and Threat Analysis)

Opportunity and Threats are used to analyze external conditions rather than Threats. For example, the overall environment of the economic market, better opportunities, and things that are unfavorable to ourselves and need to be avoided, we need to use these two parts to find problems, so that our enterprises can better adapt to external factors. In this part, we need to find more possibilities instead of being confined to the enterprise, which can lay a certain foundation for future development and help leaders make decisions and plans.
