ACCT2033 Financial Accounting and Analysis - writing case report

ACCT2033 Financial Accounting and Analysis is one of the main courses in Accounting. There are three assessments in this course:

Assessment 1 Graded Lecture Activity is the Individual Assessment. With the assumptions of running a 60-minute Graded Lecture Activity, the exercise will cover the theoretical and practical issues on the assumptions of topics 1-4. Its purpose is to assess your ability to apply double-entry bookkeeping and accrual accounting principles. It also assesses your understanding of the conceptual framework and the purpose of financial reporting. This task will be carried out in week 6, accounting for 20%. Assignment 2 Computer Assignment is also an Individual Assessment. This assessment is designed to assess your ability to apply double-entry book keeping and accrual accounting principles, make judgments, determine and apply appropriate accounting treatments. The assessment covers many common transactions for daily business issues, including the Goods and Services Tax (GST). You need to carefully record each transaction and understand how the software is used in recording general and subsidiary ledgers. Finally, you need to use this information to create a report. Due is in week 10, accounting for 30%.

The Assessment 3 Final Exam is a final exam that will measure your understanding of everything covered in this course. It assesses your ability to apply and understand financial accounting concepts and techniques, analyze, interpret and evaluate financial information to make economic decisions and its impact on organizations and society.

ACCT2033 examination scope not only includes the full knowledge of this course, but also appropriate to examine some of the basic knowledge learned before.
